A. SIMPLE
PRESENT
Meaning:
Examples:
1. It snows in Alaska
2. Tom Watches television every day
Meaning:
In general, the
simple present expresses events or situations that exist always, usually,
habitually; they exist now, have existed in the past, and probably will exist
in the future.
B. SIMPLE PAST
Examples:
1. It Snowed yesterday
2. Tom watched television last night.
Meaning:
At one particular
time in the past, this happened. It began and ended in the past.
C. SIMPLE FUTURE
Examples:
1. It will Snow tomorrow. It is going to snow
tomorrow
2. Tom will watch television tonight. Tom is going
to watch television tonight.
Meaning:
At one particular
time in the future, this will happen.
